This song tells the story of the prophet Jonah.
Jonah didn’t want to tell the people of Nineveh God’s message — he didn’t want God to have mercy on them.
But through Jonah’s story God makes his message clear: God loves all people! He wants to give everyone the opportunity to change their hearts and receive his mercy!
